Looking For Gold | The ongoing war

 The captain called the four young soldiers and ordered them to take their guns and move to  the war zone. He knew well that they have never shot anything before, they have never been in the war zone before, "but still you will go, and now". They were still young, he knew it better than anyone, but they still should go, it was an emergency and they could not keep hiding all the war time, they should take part even when they were not ready.

 They kept walking for two hours, saying nothing as they seemed to be listening to the response of the trees to the wind and watching the sky full of big clouds covering the bluness of the sky. There was only one of them who appreciated this moment as he only saw what was happening at the very moment, he strongly believed in present and he also enjoyed surprises. The others were away, remembering their past life, friends and families. They went very far with their minds and imagination of life they would lead if they were with them. They wished for a magical power to take them to their old world but in vain they found themselves in the war zone, having no time for such memories.

 They were staring at the scene as it was their first time to see a war and with no eagerness to take part in, they kept staring. They wanted to believe that they were young. "but we used to live in wars" the one who enjoyed the moment said. Another one answered:"true, but we have never fought before". After a moment they decided to survive and the only way was to share in the war they always opposed, they happened to know that wherever they ran, it would catch them and to end it they had to be in.

 They got in the middle of it, thinking about nothing but victory, it was the only way – according to them – to end it. Regarding their lack of training, they wanted to get the victory and live to enjoy it. They fought strongly and made everyone of their age feel proudly. Finally, they won and lived to enjoy the victory but not for a long time, as they were young, they didn't realize that wars never end.
