Moving quickly before anyone rose, to capture every moment of that morning. I hoped not to be lazy, and to desert the bed earlier. The meeting was at 10.30 am, and to get there on time, I only needed thirty minutes or less than that – as traffic was not jammed at that hour -. Still, I had to make sure that I took everything I wanted, but such hurry was about to make me forget the company I was to spend the time with.
Waiting for the subway nervously till it arrived, welcoming its guests by opening its doors, I stepped into it with a smile drawing on my face, as I found, unusually, a space for me and my company. It was high time for my company to start telling me its story when the subway moved, I discovered few pages of it for five minutes only, because another unavoidable live story began without any introduction, featuring two young girls
Voice 1 "No, I insist. It's a fascinating, I can't figure out why you are against it! It's only you who think otherwise"
Voice 2 "First of all, it's not fascinating at all, and for your record it's not only me who sees it not good."
Voice 1 " Those who have no taste."
Voice 2 " They are very gifted writers, and they are many but I can only name ten of them"
Voice 1 " I can name them too. They are jealous as they are competitors."
Voice 2 " Why don't you accept difference? It is art. Not everyone sees it the way you do."
Voice 1 " I know it is art but still there are masterpieces that no one can argue about."
Voice 2 " Wrong. Even masterpieces are questionable; you know that Shaw and Tolstoy didn't consider Shakespeare's plays masterpieces except for Hamlet."
Voice 1 " Exactly, as I told you earlier. It is Jealousy."
Voice 2 " I am really shocked that you like it. You – in particular – should hate it."
Voice 1 asked surprisingly "Why?"
Voice 2 " I won't tell you, you should buy the book and read it, then you will know why."
Voice 1 " Deal, but on one condition, you buy it and read it too."
Voice 2 " No problem, once I am going to prove that you're wrong."
Then my station arrived and I felt sorry for giving them a chance to start another story.
